A: I assume you are looking for the fouth generation supra? (93-98 for US Domestic Market – 93-2002 Worldwide) These vehicles have become very high in demand in the last few years. This is because they are more rare than the hondas going around the import scene, and because they are Rear Wheel Drive and an ideal drift vehicle. There are endless performance possibilities for this platform. (Think 700+bhp street vehicles)
I’ll use a 1995 for an example. Assuming a Turbo 95′ with 90k miles and stock options, book is 17,150/23,115 wholesale/retail. The typical selling price on this would be $25k and up. (Assuming exellent condition of course) Forget craigslist for something this specific. Check www.autotrader.com – there are 149 for sale nationwide right now. (Average price $31,523)

i if you are in the philly P.A. area i am looking to sell my 1990 non-turbo toyota supra , the body is straight but the gas door doesnt close and is a little rough , the lower control arms have shot bushings and needs new pads the car is a dark burgendy i just repalced the clutch on the car and did plugs and wires, the car has an alarm but unfortunaltly the previous owner forgot to get me the module to unlock the doors so i dont lock them, the interior is in really good shape except for the arm rest is torn in one place, the interior is gray an the body has 148xxx miles but it has a rebuilt motor with about 12,000 miles on it this is a good sports car, even though its not turbo, it has most of the options except the turbo and targa top for more information call me at 484-477-2655 i am asking 3800 its is 5spd.

A: good luck selling your supra, if i didn’t already have one i might be more intrested, but do you have the 5M-GE, 6M-GE, or the 7M-GE motor? I know it’s not the 7M-GTE. I may be intrested in the motor.

A: Generally toyota makes good engines.

The mk4 supra’s engine is known as “bulletproof”

But the mk3 supra engine which is the one your talking about is known for having headgasket problems.
